OUR PASTORS
STATEMENT OF FAITH
Statement of Faith
Being the Beliefs and Aims
Of Feed My Lambs International Ministries
1. The Inerrancy and sufficiency of the Holy scriptures, their being in themselves the word of God without error, the sole and absolute authority in all matters of faith and practice.
2.The primacy of preaching the word of the Lord, the Holy scriptures, under the guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and the sanctity of the Lord’s Day.
3.The unity of the Godhead and the divine co-equality of the Father, the son, and the Holy Spirit, the sovereignty of God in creation, providence and redemption.
4.The essential, absolute and eternal deity of the Lord Jesus Christ; His Virgin birth; His real and perfect manhood; the authority of His teaching and the infallibility of his utterances; His work of atonement for sinners by His substitutionary sufferings and death; His bodily resurrection, his ascension into heaven, and his present priestly intercession for his people as the one and only mediator between God and man, and His coming again in power and glory.
5.The person and deity of the Holy spirit through whom the soul is born again to saving repentance and faith; His work in regeneration, conversion and sanctification.
6.The total depravity of human nature in consequence of the fall, and the necessity for regeneration.
7.The Justification of the sinner solely by grace through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
8.The one and only universal church, the body of Christ, of which He alone is the Head; embracing all who are the redeemed through His shed blood on the cross, called by God himself through the gospel, born of the Spirit, and justified by faith.
9.The spiritual unity of all who truly believe in the Lord Jesus Christ; their duty to maintain in themselves, and in the church, a standard of life and doctrine that is in conformity with the teaching of God’s Holy word.
10.The ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s supper as being instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ, but not in baptism as conveying regenerating grace, nor’ in the Lord’s supper as being a sacrifice for sin, or involving any change in the substance of the bread and wine.
